A local forensic bench that turns risky log fragments into explicit mask-or-keep decisions before they reach a ticket.
The problem
Support engineers often move short log excerpts from internal consoles into issue trackers or vendor tickets. Useful evidence can be tangled with email addresses, internal IPs, bearer values, and labeled credentials, while manual replacement can destroy the line shape needed for debugging. Redact Relay keeps that decision visible: paste a bounded strip, review every deterministic heuristic match on an exposure reel, toggle each candidate between MASK and KEEP, and copy an equal-length masked result. It makes no exhaustive data-loss-prevention claim and repeatedly requires manual review. Text stays in the tab; there is no upload, account, persistence, paid API, tracking SDK, email, or payment path. Turn heuristics into a finite decision queue
Matches do not disappear behind an automatic sanitize button. The exposure reel names each category, shows a safely shortened value, and makes the operator choose MASK or KEEP while the output updates immediately.
Preserve forensic shape
Selected spans become the same number of block characters and replacements run from right to left. Line breaks, neighboring text, and source offsets stay stable for incident discussion.
Keep the security claim narrow
The interface calls detection heuristic, lists the four covered classes, caps input length, and requires manual review. It does not claim full PII discovery, entropy analysis, compliance, data-loss prevention, or secret revocation.
Use one forensic Operate bench
